These dried apricots are deeper in color, larger in size and lack a uniform shape. Their leathery appearance is reminiscent of fruit leather. What the Old Fashion Slabs lack in appearance, they make up for in taste.

Title:Top Quality.
Review:I consider myself an aficionado of dried apricots after first tasting them nearly 40 years ago as a child - I've struggled for years trying to find reasonably priced quality apricots in bulk. And then I found B&R and my troubles were over.
These "Old Fashion" are tremendous - tasty, sweet and slightly leathery (I like my apricots on the dry side to concentrate the sugar and flavor - also get better value as you aren't paying for water). My mouth literally salivates when I get a new 25lb box (which takes me about 1.5 months to eat by myself - about a 1/2 lb a day, every day - yum!).
But why these are called "Old Fashion" (are they out-of-style apricots?) rather than Old Fashioned is a bit of mystery...

Title:Love these apricots!
Review:Our whole family loves these apricots. My kids eat them like candy, which I love because they are so healthy. They have a wonderful leathery texture, not squishy like the Mediterranean ones you buy at Costco. The flavor is the perfect amount of sweetness. After buying a 4lb bag that only lasted a few weeks I bought a 25lb box and divided it up into smaller bags. So far they've stored perfectly.
