2 cups B&R Farms
Dried Apricots Place B&R Farms dried apricots in a 3- to 4-quart saucepan and add enough water to barely cover fruit. Soak fruit for 5 minutes, then simmer over low heat an additional 5 minutes. Stir in sugar, vinegar, cloves, mustard seed, and cinnamon sticks. Simmer the mixture 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, cool slightly, and transfer to a 1-quart jar; cover and chill at least 7 days or up to 3 months. For longer storage, pack hot mixture into hot sterilized canning jars to within ½ inch of tops. Wipe rims with damp cloth; place on scalded lids and screw on bands. If desired, remove cloves and cinnamon sticks before serving. Makes about 3 cups. |
