1 cup B&R Farms
dried apricots, cut into thin slices Place pears in a 5-quart pot; stir in sugar over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Continue cooking (boiling gently), uncovered and stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes. Stir in cooked apricot mixture (including liquid) and boil, uncovered and stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes longer or until reduced to about 5 cups. Meanwhile, prepare 5 half-pint canning jars. Fill jars to within 1/8 inch of rim. Makes 5 half-pints. |
