2019 Harvest Farm Tour Sweepstakes
Experience the magic of the Blenheim apricot harvest at B & R Farms. In honor of National Apricot Day, B & R Farms is hosting a sweepstakes. One winner will be selected for invitation to join for a tour during our harvest season in the summer (which usually occurs at the end of June or beginning of July). Enjoy the beauty of the orchards and the mesmerizing sea of orange in our drying yards, as you learn the journey of a dried apricot!
Official Sweepstakes Rules
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States, and is void where prohibited by law. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Sweepstakes (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of B & R Farms, LLC as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Sweepstakes.
3. Sweepstakes Period: Entries will be accepted starting on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 12:01am PST and ending on Wednesday, January 9 at 11:59PM PST.
4. How to Enter:
- Automatic entry: The sweepstakes may be entered by making a purchase at B & R Farms retail location (5280 Fairview Rd, Hollister, CA 95023) or online at www.brfarms.com. Limit of 1 entry per customer during the promotion period.
- Alternate Method of Entry: You may also enter the Sweepstakes without making a B & R Farms purchase. Hand print your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, email address, and date of birth on a 3” x 5” piece of paper and mail it in an envelope with proper postage to B & R Farms, 5280 Fairview Rd, Hollister, CA 95023. You will receive 1 entry into the sweepstakes. Limit 1 envelope per person during the promotion period. All mail-in entries must be handwritten and must be postmarked by January 9, 2019 and received by January 16, 2019. All entries become the exclusive property of B & R Farms and none will be acknowledged or returned. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by B & R Farms. B & R Farms is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected or postage due entries, which will be disqualified.
The entry must fulfill all Sweepstakes requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of B & R Farms, LLC.
5. Prizes: The Winner(s) of the Sweepstakes (the “Winner”) will receive a Harvest Farm Tour during the summer of 2019. The tour will take place at B & R Farms (5280 Fairview Rd, Hollister CA 95023) and will last approximately 1-2 hours. Tour activities are at the sole discretion of B & R Farms. A tour date will be arranged with the Winner in June 2019 and is subject to weather and season. Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by B & R Farms, LLC. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at B & R Farms, LLC discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for B & R Farms, LLC to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
6. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected at random by B & R Farms, LLC Management Team on or around January 17, 2019. Winner will be notified by email within five (5) days following selection of Winner. B & R Farms, LLC shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 3 days from the time award notification was sent the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Whether you're a baking extraordinaire, or just really good at pouring cereal and adding dried fruit, we want to see how YOU enjoy diced apricots in your dishes! Enter our Blenheim Bake-Off for a chance to win a B & R Farms Tote, "For The Love Of Apricots" cookbook, and a 4lb bag of diced apricots!
To enter, cook or bake a dish that includes dried diced apricots. Then, snap a pic and post it to Facebook or Instagram and tag B & R Farms (Facebook: B & R Farms, LLC / Instagram: brfarmsllc). We'll be accepting entries until 11:59pm on November 2 and that's all there is to it! We can't wait to see what you whip up!
