Blenheim apricots

I purchased 4 lbs of sulphured and 4 lbs of unsulphured Blenheim apricots. The sweetness of the sulphured ones is far superior, but I will use the unsulphured ones in my morning oatmeal. I’m sensitive to sulfites and thought they would be the better choice. I will use the sulphured ones for holiday baking, and also include them on cheese plates. They are bright in color, plump, and sweet.

Almost Perfect

I love dried apricots. I don't care for the Turkish type, because they're too sweet and taste like candy to me. I like the unsulphured CA type because they are less sticky and more natural than the sulphured type. The B&R unsulphured apricots are consistent in texture, size and flavor. They are a little gooier and not quite as tart as I prefer. If you like your unsulphured CA dried apricots moister and sweeter, this will be a great product for you.
