This unique Apricot Chili recipe excites the tastebuds with traditional savory chili flavors and a perfect touch of sweetness from diced apricots!
1 tsp olive oil
16oz lean ground turkey
1 large onion, chopped
2 large garlic cloves, chopped
1 TBS chili powder
2 tsp dried oregano leaves
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1 TBS honey
1 tsp hot pepper sauce
2 cups beef broth
1 (15oz) can black beans, drained
2/3 cup B & R Farms Diced Apricots
1/3 cup ketchup
In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat, then add turkey, onion, garlic, chili powder, oregano, cumin and red pepper.
Cook until turkey is no longer pink and onion is tender (about 8 minutes).
Stir in all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Apricots should be plump and tender.
